Attach paperstone & butcherblock counter
I’m attaching paperstone and lyptus butcherblock counters in my kitchen. It will be the first time I’ve done it, and I have two particular questions.
First, what’s the best method for attaching paperstone (3/4″)? I’ve read online [http://www.environmentalhomecenter.com/learn.shtml?Directory_Code=howtomain&Page_Code=compositehowto] about it, and people seem to recommend wood screws. Has anyone done it? Any tips?
Second, I’ve read in many places that butcherblock counters move with temperature, humidity, etc. They won’t be near a heat or water source (that’s what the paperstone is for). One method I’ve read about is anchoring the back of the counter securely, then cutting a slot near the front of the cabinets so the counter can move back and forth a little.
This sounds like a good method to me. Any comments about it? Thanks in advance.

I've done soapstone...why would you choose paperstone over SS?

Vastly easier to work, more ecologically sound, much cheaper.
