Hey All, I,m laying a laminate floor over concrete. The walls are block, so I’m thinking attaching a 1x or shoe, with tapcons. Then finish with 1/4 round. (everthing will be painted) I have 9 small apartments to do. Any sugestions?

I'd use Liquid Nails or PL, and make some springy pieces of 1x to bow-span across the rooms to press the pieces in place tightly for an hour or so. Then 1/4 rnd with 4d finish.

I'll second that
Welcome to the Taunton University of Knowledge FHB Campus at Breaktime. where ... Excellence is its own reward!
The company I used to work for used Liquid Nails, and then would shoot it on with 1" to 1.25" finish nails in the mortar joints just to hold it until it dried. If you needed to pull it into the wall, we would drill through with an 1/8" masonry bit in a hammer drill and then use a regular trim head screw in the hole. Once you got the touch down, they would hardly ever spin out and it goes pretty quick.
Thanks guys, I'm headed over there this weekend.
I would consider back-priming the moldings if they are wood - help reduce the chance of rot from moisture.
