I need to remove a load bearing wall. I have old 2 x 6 joists can I double them and run 14 feet and put on a joist hangers on a beam?

before removing the wall, you need to understand what it holds up, how you will support this during the transition, and after the removal.
Attic floor joists also often serve to keep outside walls from moving away from each other due to the weight of the roof. This needs to be accounted for as well.
