Hey Guys, I thought I’d post a couple pics of an attic I did a while back. There was nothing up there but summer heat when I started. I did everything but the carpet.
I’ve got a great new project wrapping up soon. I’ll post pics when I get them.

Could you re-post some smaller pictures? Those are HUGE, and take forever to download on a dialup connection.

Great job Justus! I like how you incorporated the outlet into the bookcase trim. Must have been a pain.

Sorry Boss, Thoes really are big! I didn't realize that they would be so much larger on the web. I'll try again.
Thanks Pro deck, This was actually my first full attic job. The outlets were not that hard, I built the window seat out of 3/4 birch ply, and I just routed out the outlet boxes and used old work boxes to install. What was a real pain was the base board underneath the book case openings, and the transition to the AC unit. I'll do that differently next time. Justus Koshiol

It looks real nice. You would be justified in feeling proud. Good job.
Thank you, I really didn't expect such a positive reaction form these pics. Now I have to butter my head to get it through the door. :)
justus.. looks like a lot of good planning went into that ....i love working with those small spaces.... quite the challenge making it all workMike Smith Rhode Island : Design / Build / Repair / Restore
There was quite a bit of planning, anything that could be was sunk in to the knee walls. The TV, Stereo equip, a fish tank, ect. That left a lot of room that would normaly have been taken up. There are also to large doors to acces the knee walls for storage space "you can see a bit of one behind the hutch." The folks are very happy with this new space, they spend a lot of time here. And that is the best compliment of all. Thanks to everyone for their kind words.
