Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

Just moved here about a month ago, found a job right away, see some adds in the paper every week.
I dont know what your level of work is but there seems to be a lot of remodel work.
Are you looking for a job or to contract, got any old conections?
I hear people say that the economy is not what it was a few years ago but there is one hell of a lot of work going on around here. I am making what I consider a very good wage, dont know what the contractors are charging but based on what I get paid they better be getting more than 25 to 35 or there not making squat on me.
Dont know if that helps any, to new to know much, can tell you enough about the traffic though.

thanks, that is good to hear. i dont know if i will take a job or contract. i would think it would be easier to find a job than to start contracting right away. so how is austin these days. is traffic as bad as i hear?
WORSE!!!!
