My wife has decided we are installing Australian cypress floors in our new house. I have heard it is a little tricky to work with and I am wondering if anyone has a little free experience and/or advice they would like to share.

DREW,
YOU'RE IN LUCK! WE'RE DOING A HOUSE WHICH WILL USE
3200 SQ.FT. OF 2 1/4" RANDOM LENGHT AUSTRALIAN CYPRESS. THIS JOB SHOULD BEGIN IN THE NEXT TWO TO THREE WEEKS. I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED ON THE (HOPEFULL) PROGRESS.

You have made an excellent choice. Australian cypress makes for a very cool looking floor. We have had a little trouble with the tongue cracking when we staple it with our pnuematic naIlers, but this hasn't caused any trouble with the finished floor.
