i have a job coming up where i am using t&g azek porch flooring. there is a basement under this porch and the porch is only 8×10
what can i fit between the joist under the flooring so that when water seeps through the t&g flooring it can run out under the flooring.
i am looking for somthing rigid that i can fit between the joist and caulk it to the sides of the joist and slope it so that any water that gets through the flooring will just run out.
any ideas woul be helpful i was thinking a bout draping rubber roofing between the joist but i need to use somthing ridgid
thanks nicko

Old corrugated plastic political lawn signs. If you wait until November they'll be free for the taking.

Under Azek deck
Check TekSupply [or some variation of that name] or an Equine [try Jeffers] supply place for stable supplies. What they sell are sheets of rigid plastic for stall walls. They come in a variety of thicknesses and sizes. I think it would work great for what you are describing.
Are you going to make the deck panels removable so that the debris that gets down between the deck boards can be removed periodically? If not, looks to me like you're making a water trap to rot out your floor joists.
