Anybody got experience with Azek Trim? Looks like nice stuff. Seems like it could yellow in time, but if it does it’s paintable. I’ve read it can expand an contract with temperature changes. Since temps can range from zero to 100 here, that may be a concern. Please chime in.

Chuck, I love the stuff and have found it to be a pretty easy upsell on additions anyway...new construction may be a different story. Glue your miters with Gorilla Glue and the expansion and contraction shouldn't be too much of a concern. Tools like butter, I always tell people it tools like wood is supposed to tool. Router bits hog out like its butter. Takes paint very well IMHO. A great companion to fiber cement.
Downfalls...only comes in 18'ers. A little tough to hang an 18' rake board solo. It's very flexible unless on edge. Makes for easy work of trimming out half rounds and such though. They also came out with prefab seamless cornerboards as well.
I read somewhere recently that you shouldn't use ring-shanked nails, however I've always used ring-shanked stainless with it and haven't had a problem yet...maybe I'll change nails.
