Has anyone got bad gas on site
I work as a contractor in Tasmania Australia and am having a lot of trouble with Paslode gas canisters. The injectors that inject the gas are getting stuck. The gun will fire for a while thenn stop. Its a problem that a lot of guys down here are complaining about. The suppliers are still charging for the gas however. I’ve had three guns in the shop in as many months and always the same problem. Ive resorted to hanging on to the old tops that still work but the don’t last more than a 1000 nails. Is anyone in the states having this problem because i might be able to import. Bad gas on a building site thats not right.

I've had some problems with gas cartridges for my Paslode guns but how do you know that it's the injectors? I didnt know that there was a way to tell?
When I have a prob with no firing(and I know that the cartridge isnt empty) I take the gas cartridge out and press the black end(injector)against something untill I hear the gas squirt out, reload the cartridge and most times the gun is back to firing, when it doesnt I replace the cartridge.
I've noticed I'm replacing cartridges more often though.

Ive been doing the press test method but the plastic nosle piece of the injector dosent return freely, they seem to stick. The repair shop seem to think its a bigger problem in the angle finish nailers. Maybe because they have smaller cartridges, but it is still a problem with my framers.
