Hello, residential superintendent and first time poster here: my framers for some reason, did not put a slope on a second story balcony 10×13’ above garage. I’m fact it’s has negative fall. And of course, roofer put on TPO before I could catch it. So now I have pooling in heavy rains. My question is: is it best to tear out everything and redo costing us time and money or let the tile guy deal with the problem (like my roofer and framer are saying) and have that extra dead weight? The balcony is on 2×12 connected to triple LVL. Pretty sure I know the answer but want a second opinion. Any advice is much appreciated.

Cover up the problem with a material known to hide/ retain water? That's going to be a no from me.
Just do it right and do it over.
