I am installing engineered bamboo flooring over a concrete slab with radiant heat. The bamboo floor is in the living, dining and kitchen areas. The kitchen has an island in the cabinet layout. Should the cabinets go on top of the flooring or directly on the concrete? What is the best way to anchor the island?
I bought threshold trim pieces for the transition between the bamboo and the ceramic tile at the entry and at the fireplace. Should these thresholds be glued to the concrete subfloor?
Any other tips for this floor installation?
Thanks!

I'd do the floor first, then the cabinets. Otherwise the counter height will be 3/4" lower than typical. Other reasons, too, including it'd suck to cut the flooring around the cabinets.
Glue the transition strips? Well, how's the rest of the bamboo attached? I'd think you'd use the same method. And do you even need transitions? My bamboo is within 1/8 or 1/4 of the tile height. I just rounded an edge and have all the transition I've needed.
