Here’s an office I finished up a little while ago. All the built-ins and floor are bamboo, the entry is fir and the tops are fireslate.

Nice work

The bamboo floor, did you use pre-finished, or finish after installation? I'm thinking about using bamboo flooring on our third floor space. I hate the micro-bevel of pre-finished, but I love the wear factor and the no mess part. What do you think?
Bryan-
The floor I used was prefinished and it worked out pretty well. The tongue and grooves were very tight which made it a little difficult but everything came out nice and flush. No micro bevel by the way. All in all the prefinshed floor was good but needed to be protected while working on it. The only problem was the nosing they sent. They promised that it would match the rest of the floor even though it was a different species and it wasn't even close. I had to install it anyway and pretend that it was some sort of intended contrast thing.

Thanks! I didn't realize that there were prefinished floors without the micro-bevel out there. Is there a specific brand name for the one you used?
nice work! esp. like the bamboo panels in doors
also the shelves over couch!
the back panel of those shelves?? is that T&G or sheet good material?
if sheet who makes it?
thanks john
Not that I care, but I'm not the person who did the work, and I'd hate for him to think I was trying to take credit for something I had nothing to do with.
Bryan-
You can find the flooring at bamboohardwoods.com.
