How can one install base boards on round walls? I have two corners in a house that require baseboards, one corner has an arc of approximately 18″, they other corner has an arc of approximately 24″. How can I bend or cut baseboards to fit around these corners? I was planning to use finger-jointed pine as base boards because that is what is in the house right now.

Assuming paint grade due to fingerjoints. Use flexible trim from either http://www.flextrim.com or http://www.flexmoulding.com

Mark, I've done this a few times, mostly with base that had a separate ogee.Rip the base 1/8" wide, check to see if this will bend into the curve easily. If not rip it thinner. If the base you are using has a molded top edge then rip this off.Rip a separate molded piece from scrap. If you can bend it EASILY , then you can glue and nail each piece to the plates and studs. If it is an inside curve each piece will be slightly smaller than the last.Take that into consideration when making your cuts.
If the molded piece does not bend easily it will crack. You will need very hot water in a sink or tub whatever you need for the length.Enough water to cover the wood and a bottle of Downy Fabric Softener.Keep the wood submerged for 10 or 15 minutes. You will be able to bend it into a circle if you want.

McMark,
you will need use solid pine if you are going to bend it.
FJ will self destruct if you bend it.
