I have a situation where there is HW baseboard heat and above the baseboard heat is a cabinet, just clearing the baseboard. this is in a corner.
I know this is not an ideal situation
Without doing anything to the baseboard, other than removing the cover, would like to be able to distribute the heat from under the cabinet.
was thinking of using some type of fan or blower controled by a thermostat. haven’t been able to locate one though.
suggestions?.

One idea that comes to mind and is cheap, easy to cobble together and relatively quite would be to use one or more old computer type fans and just let them run continiously during the heating season, they are cheap (get them just about free at any computer reapir shop, some are 120v, some are 12vdc and would require the old computer power supply, again cheap) and do not consume much power. They are small, quite and would provide the nominial amunt of air movement required. And if it doesn't work you are out only about 10$.
Just a thought.
Dunno if you`ve considered removing the baseboard and swapping it for a toe kick heater that does exactly what you`re lookin for. I realize this means "touching" the baseboard, but I thought Id suggest anyhow.
