Baseboard Heater Covers for Remodeling
Hi Gang,
I’m remodeling a ~40 year old house in NH and am down to the nitty gritty of fixing/covering baseboard hot water heat. The old ones are Suntemp and are just too far gone. To complicate matters, the back side of the existing cover is under (2) layers of flooring (not mine) and can’t be removed without removing the 2 floors or cutting the piece in half, above the heater fins and covering it all with a nice, new, decorative cover.
In the past I have used “Overboards” that advertises in Finehomebuilding. They were supposed to ship in 2 weeks but ended up taking 12 weeks due to a factory mod. I checked out the website today and they are not accepting any new orders until fall 2006.
I have 3 walls to cover. 125″, 42″, and 103″. The first (2) share a corner.
If anyone has a better website or … Please let me know.
