Well…it took me awhile. I could only work late nights after work and on the weekends, but I finished it up a few weeks back. I didn’t get back to snap some photos until after the owners moved the exercise equipment back into the room though…
…I only wish I had taken some before photos! The place was a complete and utter disaster area. thus all the funky soffits and such.
(Edit: if these photos are still too big, can somebody reduce them for me…I already took them down 35%, but they’re still large enough to need the scroll bar to see the entire picture…)

Looks good. I understand completely about the nights and weekends
I would have liked to see some before shots and progress shots as well. I'm taking pictures of everything as I go (similar project). It will help later if I ever need any information regarding wher things are behind walls and such. It is taking forever but it will be worth it in the end as it will get the kids stuff out of the upstairs and provide a place for guests as well.
I can't wait

Looks nice. They need some big mirrors in there to make it seem less hall-like.

The reason so many people never get anywhere in life is because when opportunity knocks, they are out in the backyard looking for four-leaf clovers.

Yeah, they plan on hanging a large mirror for working out, so it should do double duty in that respect.

Mirrors are great design elements. Some day I want to find someone who does trompe l'oeil (-sp-?) and combine that with mirrors to make for some interesting effects.

Looks nice, the soffits are prett wild, but they make it look nice. Good job.
We are all in this together.

I like the colors could you tell me what you used for walls and trim?
The trim is just a benjamin moore variety of white....and though there was much back and forth on the color of the walls, they ended up choosing a shade of blue...but the name escapes me right this minute, and bmoore's website isn't being very helpful. I will get back to you I figure it out.
