I am looking for suggestions on how to install a reasonably priced shower in my basement. The challenge is the dimensions need to be approximately 40″ X 32″.

Not quite sure what you mean by the difficulty is the size. You can make any size shower you want with a pan and tile walls & floor. The harder part maybe draining the water if you have no access to the septic/sewer line. May have to install a pump to get rid of the wastewater
Thank you for your reply. I have never tiled before and hiring it done appears a rather expensive venture - considering I had hoped to find a pre-fab unit. I am not opposed to doing the tiling myself (hoping I could get that drain pain done properly) but hoping there may be something I am simply not aware of presently. The bathroom is already plumbed, including a pump for the sewage pump.
You're not looking for that unusual of a size for prefab - have you done a search of google or froogle?

A bit more expense than I was hoping to find but it may be my most reasonable option. Thanks!
You could get a 36" fiberglass unit in there at the minimum. You may even be able to find a 40" wide fiberglass unit. Lots of stuff out there
