Basement Underlayment: DMX-1 Step or Airflow vs. Superseal
Thanks in advance to everyone!
I’ll start out by (hopefully) saving everyone time. The question is specifically about the mentioned products; not DRICore, Tyroc, Platon, Delta-FL, etc.
Below are links to each product in question:
https://www.dmxmembranes.com/flooring-membrane/
https://www.superseal.ca/subfloor-membrane/laminate-carpet-double-dimple-subfloor/
I’ll likely end up framing directly on top of either of these products, and likely a laminate on top (haven’t decided about OSB yet)… I have 7.5 ft ceilings so losing the a bit of headroom isn’t huge…
Does anyone have any experience with either product? I’m having a difficult time deciding which direction to go. They both have their own pros/cons. I’ve tried looking for reviews and such but really haven’t found what I’m looking for.

I have not used either system but it looks to me like the DMX only offers air flow between the membrane and the concrete slab whereas the Superseal will have airflow both between slab and membrane as well as between membrane and laminate floor.
