I’m getting ready to add some recessed lighting to my small 5×8 bathroom and need to know if both lights need sealed trim rings. One is to be located directly over the shower so I know that one is a given, the other is over the vanity about 5 feet away. Will this light be affected by the moisture from the shower?

an electrician could help w/this. the new nec i believe deals with what you ask. 6 ft comes to mind b/4 no gfci circuit. god knows we all change the bulb while on an aluminum ladder near the cast tub with our wife in it. darn, i forgot to take off that janitor key thing that pulls out.
