I am currently deciding how to do the bathroom walls behind my shower. (I am not a newbie to the bathroom walls but I also not a conventional method kind of person. I have the white pebbled frp for the top half of the shower surround (to match the white pebbled wall paper at the same level) Then I bought pvc panels to put around the bottom (they match the white wood panels at the bottom of the wall) so other than the material difference, my walls will be consistent all the way around the bathroom. I have good green board in the shower. I didn’t want to replace it if i don’t have to. I bought some kerdi membrane to moisture barrier it to be safe (er) with the seam across the middle. I can’t do tile because i have a pier and beam built in the 1900s (it shifts and no way to stop it I’ve been told) 1. Can I use the FRP glue to secure the kerdi membrane since I already have a HUGE bucket of it, and 2. Will the FRP board stick to the kerdi once it’s set?
