The first thing I thought of as I read your question was Phenoseal. It is a vinyl adhesive which seems to be imitated quite a bit and is available in many colors and shades. It does stay pliable and cleans up with just water. It is very popular here in the northeast but my brother, a Glidden paint representative in Alabama has never heard of it. The address as it appears on the tube is: Gloucester Co., Inc. P.O. box 428 Franklin, MA. 02038. Good luck and I hope this helps. JoeG1221

What is the best caulk to seal between the tile and bathtub? DAP is the most marketed around my area but doesn't do the trick. It hardens instead of staying a little plyable and dries out and flakes in a few weeks to months. My home is humidified and I use rubbing alcohol as a final cleanup before applying. What do you contractors that do your own plumbing use? Appreciate your response ( I know this is not a plumbing forum, but you always seem to know something about all aspects of homebuilding ). Thanks

*Joe, Would you happen to have an address or some way I could find out about purchasing Phenoseal. I can't say that I've ever seen it offered in this area, but it sounds like just the ticket I need to caulk around a shower stall. Thanks, Frank.

*I also use Phenoseal. Like Joe said, once you use it, you'll never go back. It comes in different colors, and can match just about any tile or cultured marble I've ever installed.I get mine at the local Home Depot.James DuHamel
*Jared and Frank, look here:Good luck with a good product, Steve
*Thanks to all!! Sent for the Phenoseal color chart - now all I need to find is a Home Depot in the wilds of Southern Indiana. Sounds like just the right product. I'll try Leows.
*There's not a home depot in my area but I did e-mail Phenoseal as to where I could get there product. Thanks all. Thanks Joe Fusco for the comment on the cabinets. Frank "MadDog" Maglin.
