I need new batteries for Dewalt drills. Will anybody recommend a seller on e-bay? Is it possible to get new, genuine batteries from e-bay at a discount? Thank you in advance.l

All day long.
There are always auctions happening where people are breaking up combo kits to make a profit.
Considering you can buy brand new retail 2 packs of Dewalt 18 volt batteries for $99 - finding single battery deals for $45-60 is probably not a problem.
As for sellers - check feedback and double check their shipping policies and any possible handling charges - easy to get roped in by a low price and find out you're getting screwed in the shipping dept.
You might check the Dewalt site or a retail store to find out the model number of the very latest release of batteries so that you don't stumble upon new-OLD stock.
Also check hdtools online store - a while back they were selling new 18 volt Dewalt batteries for $42 each.
Also could be worth looking at some of the refurb tool combos - I've seen some for as low as $135-150 for kits with 2 batteries - might be a way to get the batteries and get a tool you can use for a great deal. For susch deals - check Toolking.com and maybe Tyler tool.
Good luck,
Julian
Like Julian said. I bought some on ebay and the guy was a real squirrel. I have done at least 130 transactions and this is about the only one that was bad and it was not all that bad. He advertised two 12 DW and a charger. Got them here and they were 9.6. He argued that his "as-is" description covered it. Got him thrown off ebay and his feedback removed.
It was no big loss and I have used the batteries in 12v equip. Did not really need the charger as I had at least 6 of them. This was a real anomaly as most I have worked with have been great. I bought several 24v ones at about 1/6 the going price and they were new.
If you want piece of mind HDT will get them to you and stand behind it.

There are many great bargins on ebay but be prepared for frustration when someone snipes your geat deal at the last minute. Just put in what you are ready to pay as your maximum and do not get caught up in the auction frenzy.
I have purchased a ton of dewalt stuff off of ebay from waterguy3434. His shipping is a little high, but he will combine items for a better deal. Additonally, he ships very fast.
I want assure you that I have no personal connection whatsoever to him...check his feedback and you will see a few comments from me.
Im going to agree with pill128 on Waterguy3434. I bought a 36v circ saw and recip saw from him. Spares - gotta have a spare. Got my stuff in record time, and he responded to my emails really quick.
Check out the sellers feedback rating, particularly look through for the negative feedback and see what the comments are. I've shyed away from sellers from negative comments.

Someone forwarded me this link this past week. I haven't tried them yet myself, but I will be in the next month or so. I have 18V DW battery that is on its last legs.
