Am I correct in assuming that between my Makita drill and impact driver I can use the 12v 2.6 ah batteries and the 12v 1.3 ah batteries in either tool, even if one came with the 1.3 ah and one the 2.6 ah.
I don’t see how this would matter, just want to double check.

dont see why not, should be just like putting a bigger battery in your car, the only important thing is the voltage
tool should work twice as long with the higher capacity battery
besides im sure if it could harm the tool it wouldnt be posible to insert the battery

Kind of what I figured, and they sell both the drill and the impact driver with the each type of battery, I just got the impact driver before the higher ah batteries were out.

I have a Milwaukee 14.4 volt, someone gave me a 14.4 1.7 amp battery, my drill came with 14.4 2.4amp batteries, they both work fine. Been using it for almost a year so shouldnt matter.
