I use an ordinary plastic cooler, the size being the one made to hold 6-20oz bottles.
I am constantly being told that heat is the enemy of batteries ... and this helps protect them from the high temperatures in the truck during the summer.
I did find it necessary to add a drain hole, though.
Recently I've been using a cloth tote bag. It's actually the bag I got at the JLC Live last year that they give you to put all the pamphlets and #### in. I leave one charger on the truck, and the rest are in the house to charge the batt's at night. Then I just throw all the batt's in the bag in the morning.
I have a tool box with all my batts and chargers, 18v Dewalts,Milwaukees my paslodes and a small makita impact driver. Keep it in the truck during the cold days and bring it in the house at night. I have extra chargers for most of them so I don't haqve to drag out the chargers during the day much but they are there in case I need them.
