   I've been up in a number of fixed wing aircraft, from Cessna 140 to DC6, never any rotorcraft. The blade arc is always visible on a fixed wing, but I can't recall seeing it show up in any of the shots from the cockpit of your Gyrocopter. Any chance you could take an 'up shot' next time your flying?

   Might not see the disc in a pic.  Most shots of Main Rotors I have (just looked) have blades still. 

   Stan, what are your M/R speeds.  I've got time around Hueys, Cobras (M/R speeds max @ 324rpm) , some lighter (but not much) series but none on the gyros.  Do they even call it a M/R or is it called something else?

   John:  The rotor typically runs around 320 rpm.  The heavier the load the faster they run as gravity is what powers the rotor.
