>>>me-20 bee stings
>>>Andrew- way over twenty..mostly on his fingers...
>>>200 pounds of honeycomb extracted from the big hive...
>>>20 pounds of honey comb for us to keep..
Those are some pretty impressive stats. I'd probably be dead with 20 stings, so I'm glad you didn't have any reaction.
BTW; how do honey bee stings feel? I've never been stung by one, but I've had plenty of wasp and hornet stings.
Sorry For the late reply

A bee sting feels like a sharp pain..lilke getting a shot with a bigger than average needle..followed by a burning sensation for a couple of minutes...then for me its done...
We removed a hive from inside a wall of a condo 5 weeks ago. My helper got stung once on the ball of his right hand. by the next day he could'nt use his hand at all, his wrist was limp. Er doc says the bee stung him on the radial nerve of his hand and caused swelling that had damaged the nerve. He's been wearing a brace but his hand is still pretty useless. Doc says it may take a year for full recovery. All from one bee sting.
