beefing up floor joist

Hello all,

Looking for advice on how to strengthen a floor joist that will have to have plumbing waste pipes passing though it? Like what about using plywood gusset, etc ? The joist is 2×10 and spans 13-1/2′ on 16″oc .

    3/4" ply glued and screwed on both sides.

    HOWEVER it would be best if you talk to an engineer firts as you have not said what size hole you are going to cut as well as where in the web, near the top or bottom.
