while trying to find a local distributer, I came across this. I know that this question has come across before. Not much of an investment.
I’ll be doing this next week/soon. I’ll run the material through the Williams-Hussey moulder first.

That's pretty much exactly how we bend ours, a couple pieces of 8" duct screwed together and the salamander heater.
What I've found doing it is that the ends can char if you're not careful with the heater and his 20 minutes inside the tube seems high, I've never had a piece take more then 10 minutes.
a word to wise if you use a PVC trim with a wood grain on one side, expect it to no be there after you heat it.
another tip, if it starts to cool to quickly on a complex bend or a big/long piece, keep a heat gun handy it makes short work of minor adjustments.
