Hey all,
I thought I’d show off a siding job, you can do a lot of things with a little heat.

Hey Blacky, that's pretty cool, good trick. I'm guessing you just applied some heat with a torch or a heat gun to get the pieces to bend like that. The only other option would be, what....45 degree outside corners? But I like what you did better. Did you think of that on your own or did someone else give you the idea?
Mapp gas for a few seconds. I miter the horizonal bands on reverse of panel and whack the hooks if the bend falls over one with my multimaster. Propane works as well too just had mapp in front of me at the time. They dont make 135 degtee corners for Nalite and I believe the 90s look like heck anyways. This method looks so much better I cant believe I couldnt find anything on the web about this way.I watched a sparky years ago bending conduit with a torch....hey I bet I can bend this stuff the 90s are sometimes funky looking and you chump a few. The stone panels look so much more realistic. I will get more pictures this coming week.

I dunno. Hate to see what happens when they get wet!

I now see I turned that pic upside down. I believe these are some type of vinyl panel, not real wood.copper p0rn
They are.
I wish I had pictures from years ago, when I did this. The company actually told me to do!!

I was going to ask! I was reluctant to post--"Too bad your work is in vain because of all the rain water you're funneling into the house!" Tried to look at the window, but I still wasn't sure. Whew!
