Hello –
Going to be installing some seamless aluminum gutters (up to 38′ length) on our house, and we now have the option of choosing which type of fastener to use. I’ve ruled out spikes ferrules (they always seem to pop over time) and have been leaning toward the similar square drive gutter screws and ferrules. I’ve used these in ‘spot repair’ work in the past, and they seem to hold up quite well.
We are in New England and see a bit of snow during the winter. Would anyone recommend some of the other types of fasteners/hangers based on their experience? Thanks.

if you have a plumb fascia.. use a fasia hanger and SS. screw 2' OC..
if you don't have a fascia use a roof hanger (rod & bar ) 2' OC..
*Thanks Mike - I'm in Mass just over the RI border - any seamless gutter firms you have worked with in the past you could recommend? CJH
*Custom Seamless out of Pawtucket..but they only do drops.. no installs..
