   I stopped in to pick up the fireplace insert for our library project...one of the few places left handling wood/coal/gas/electric stoves and inserts - "there's enough for everyone"

   Dave,  the owner,  polishes off a small project for me in the small machine room - there's the big room that I didn't get any good picts of - - they've got a computer controled water cutter that makes intricate and delicate designs in metal (or other substances) that is a marvel..."there's enough for everyone"

   I love it!!  I grew up in small town in southern Ohio and my sister and BIL owned a hardware store that had been in town over a 100 years.....No, not them, the store.......<G>

   It was an institution in the town, and when they retired, the store closed.......

        I used to work in an old hardware store like that. The floors creaked. They had a wooden bins for the screws and nails that you had to weigh on a very old scale. I still go there when I need one or two of something.

        They are the only store I know that has 12-24 screws. And an old box of square head lags laying on the top shelf.  

        And the old kind of Red Devil paint shaker.

   If they make custom woodstoves...I'll be there when I come up..next week?..

   ...custom woodstoves....

   they will make what you design out of metal - they do not do casting to my knowledge,  and they do not work cheap

   - the saw is here after we made a hell of a mess of the site at McCann's - see pict - we'll get set up in next few days at one of the two sites on the farm - we had a big rain,  so it's too wet till sunday or monday,  but the ground is settled and I look forward to making sawdust...

   so,  what about your plumbing - - har-har- (I'm laffin' with cha)"there's enough for everyone"
