I like to spend all my leisure time in swimming pools, so Iam strict about cleanliness of my pool. Recently I heard some people experiencing skin allergy, rashes, eye irritation after swimming in some public pools . I just want to mention some facts about excessive chlorine usage in pools.
Chlorine is the chemical most public and private pools rely on for disinfection purpose in pools, When excess amount of chlorine is used in the pools, then water becomes toxic to humans. Swimmers will experience moderate to severe eye irritation. They experience burning in their nasal passages and mouth if they inhale the over-chlorinated water. so be careful about chlorine levels of your pool. One swimming pool cleaning services from toronto gave this information to me, I am sharing this with you all. Have a good day!

Yeah, dihydrogen oxide is an especially deadly chemical -- kills about 3000 people a year in the US.
In Mexico
Many from the US are afraid of travel to Mexico. But the danger of violence is greatly exagerated. The number one cause of death for tourists is traffic accidents, followed by inhalation of dihydrogen oxide.
Dihydrogen monoxide (DHMO) is just as deadly, and very common in pools. Beware, your lungs can be debilitated in seconds in contact with DHMO.
my fear
What scares me more is other stuff people throw in the pools like piranhas, crocodiles and snickers bars....
How sure are you that it was really a Snickers bar?
not sure...
could have been a Baby Ruth bar .....
Then, there's these pesky guys.
Bear in the pool

IUPAC has no "di-" prefix in its' official terminology, and '-ide' indicates two, not one.
If you're going to try to come up with the 'chemical name' of water, you might start with something like "Oxygen Hydride."
Go ahead call a spade a spade. It's Hydroxic Acid Nothing more deadly than ingesting acid.
99.9999% pure Hydrogen Hydroxide is an inorganic chemical solvent, while essential to human life, can also be deadly in high concentrations. A chemical substance is a form of matter that has constant chemical composition and characteristic properties. It cannot be separated into components by physical separation methods, i.e. without breaking chemical bonds.
