The Wobble LIght has an auxilary outlet to string more lights togather- Well I somehow ran a cord to a mitersaw and I guess blew it up – Has anyone other than me overloaded one and if so what is the fix? I had hoped for a reset or a fuse but haven’t found one-

"Weebles wobble but they don't fall down"
Forrest - I'd take that sucker apart
what type of bulb does your unit use?
did it just flash and go out? is there no power out now?
they are pretty simple machines -
I think McDesign has the right idea -

Call 877-707-0800 for the service department. Maybe they can help. As far as I know there is no fuse or breaker inside them.
I bought one at Home Depot so I could tape and paint my garage. Perfect because I wanted to finish the ceiling before installing the 8' fluorescents and it was miserable in there with just to light bulb sockets. I then managed to knock it off my bench top the first day. Apparently gravity still applies to wobbles.
The bulb did not appreciate that type of treatment, so I headed back to HD. Guess what, HD doesn't stock the fluorescent bulbs. I had to order them on line. They came in just as I finished painting, perfect.
The only good news is I ordered a bunch so I can't continue to check for any holes in the gravitional field around my light.
I've had it open. There's no fuse. Best you can try is pop the screws on the bottom and see if a wire came loose somewhere obvious.
Real trucks dont have sparkplugs
Thanks for most of the input- To answer a few questions , the bulb is 175w metal halide- seemed like a breaker at the panel kicked but it hadn't- not sure about the flash. No power in or out now- bulb shows no sign of damage
No not the guy who bought the display at HD but would have if it was on the 75% off table-
I did call customer service and was treated great-they are sending me a circuit board, the recommended fix.....Even with my blown webble wobble I would still highly recommend this light, pretty darned handy
I like both bulbs but bout died when I found out what a replacement MH bulb goes for. You dont want to break that. I have no idea what the flourescents are. I had my electrician get mine for me since he got a break on the cost and it was still $40.Real trucks dont have sparkplugs
