Hi all,
Preparing for drywall installation. My house has trusses 24″ OC. Could you please help me understand if I need to block in between these at ceiling wall junction to support the drywall? Also, any advice on where the important drywall blocking areas are would be greatly appreciated.

For drywall, no, you don't need it. It's helpful, but not absolutely needed. It's very helpful there if you plan to run crown.
Is there any advantage to putting the blocking if crown molding will not be used? I plan on a very modern trimless drywall install. Is there a decreased risk of drywall cracking at joints with increased blocking? Thanks
when you put up the ceiling panels first, the wall panels will help hold them in place.
But you eliminate the chance of cracking by fully blocking. Unless of course you are in the shaky state of California
