Alright folks – I’ve been inspired (Thanks to Mike Smith) to create a photo timeline of a basement remodel I’m currently working on.
This first post will just be a test to see if I can manage to upload photos directly into the browser window – without having to click.
Let’s see if it works…

I guess it's a Tauton thingI can't get jpegs in the body of the text either.Maybe Mike Smith can help.Chuck Slive, work, build, ...better with wood

Yeah, tell me about it Doug! Well, to be fair, Mike Smith has been on this forum a lot longer than I have!
To be honest though, we editors have to ask Mark (sysop) how to do stuff all the time, that's why he's there - so we don't have to know computer jargon... :)Justin Fink - FHB Editorial

Justin,
Not sure if you've tried this yet but:
1) Attach and upload the pictures just like you normally would.
2) Post the message
3) Go back into BT and read the message
4) Right click on the pictures and "Open in another window"
5) Edit the message
6) In the other window showing the picture right click on the picture and "Copy"
7) Paste (shift-insert works for me, but ctrl-V might also) into the text of the message.
Let's give it a try...

I thought about being rich and it don't mean so much . . . Just look at Henry Ford, all those millions and he never owned a Cadillac.
Just shift-click open the attachment and resize the window. No fancy gizmos required.

This is how I do it:1. Type in the text you want, and leave an extra return space where you want the pictures to go.2. Attach all the photos you will be using in your post.3. DON'T HIT POST! Instead, Preview your post.4. Click on the link at the bottom of the preview to see your picture. When you see it, click it and either Ctrl+C or right mouse click then choose Copy.5. Use the Back button on your browser to get back to the preview, then click Revise.6. Go to the space where you want your picture to go, then do Ctrl+V or Right mouse click Paste.7. Repeat for each picture, but DO NOT POST until you get them all in. If you add the picture by editing your post, you set the font for everyone reading it at the one you have choosen to view it. You allso get than annoying editied line at the bottom.Rebuilding my home in Cypress, CA
