I changed my font to what I wanted to see on my screen. Someone here told us how to do that. Now the problem is I do not see it on my screen as the font that I want. When I print out something it IS in the font that I wanted. Could anyone be of some help here. THANK YOU!

If you delve into the preferences of your browser, you should find options where you can accept or decline the font, the font size, and the font color displayed on web pages.
In my preferences, I choose everything to be displayed on my screen as Times New Roman. I chose to ignore font size and font colors.
What shows on my monitor for this site is uniform text...no matter what the writer chose to write in. It got rid of all the pitiful artwork that was making this forum even more of a chore to read than it already is.
However, if I print a page...I have no idea what will come out of the printer. It will print the font that the writer designated when the post was written. Which is why I cut 'n paste instead of printing pages directly off the site.
Look into your browser's preference settings and nose around a bit. Even when I found the "font" screen for my browser's settings, I had to look through all the tabs to find the options I wanted. It wasn't as obvious as I though it would be.

Here's how I did it with IE.
Go to Tools, then Internet Options. On the General tab click Accessibility (lower right hand corner). Then in the formatting window that pops up check all the ignore options (fonts, sizes, colors) you want.
I also used these browser settings to change the background color on this forum. It makes it a little easier on my eyes.
