Hello –
I’m a little puzzled over how or when to read the boiler pressure gauge.
This is a natural gas boiler for a baseboard radiator system.
I’m trying to maintain around 12-lbs pressure and not sure if this pressure reading registers only when the boiler is fired and warmed up to 180F or if it is suppose to read around12-lbs when it’s on standby.
System seems to be full of water with no air but the gauge keeps dropping down to zero after I introduce more water into the system and bring up the pressure.
I looked everywhere, including a small run that is under the concrete slab, and there isn’t any leakage that I can find.
Thanks for your help.
I will browse around “The Wall” for an answer also.
