I was just wondering if anyone could recomend some bookeeping soft ware for the construction business? I need something simple to use because I am almost computer illiterate.

You did not give any details as what type of buisness that you have (self-employeed, corp, LLC, partnership), the size of your business, if you have any employees, if you are cash or accural tax basis.
But the way that you ask this I assume that you are small self-employeed, cash basis. In that case Quicken Home and Busines would probably be the best bet.
