My brother just gave me a copy of a great book called “Victorian Architecture of Iowa” by William Plymat Jr.
It’s a real treat for anyone interested in style. The photos are great, text is well written, lots of history of when these homes were built (and some commercial buildings), and the surprise of finding so many incredible homes in such outstanding condition makes this book worth finding.
Did I mention how good the photos are? 🙂

It's already on your bookshelf... you just need to sort through all that stuff you haven't looked at for awhile."A liberal is a man too broadminded to take his own side in a quarrel." Robert Frost

Yeah, I don't remember much about Iowa, either. I do go there from time to time.... and then I remember why I don't go there much."A liberal is a man too broadminded to take his own side in a quarrel." Robert Frost
