I’m currently using Microsoft Money for Small Business and I have one significant problem with it: It will not subtotal materials on an invoice. This is important to me because I wind up spending time with a calculator at the end of the week going through my invoices and subtracting materials from my gross to arrive at my taxable income. It’s also kind of nice if my customers can look at their invoice and see at a glance what labor is and what materials are running.
Does anyone know if quickbooks or any other preferable inexpensive small biz software does this?
