I'm looking to add onto our house. 600 sq. ft. out
and about 300 or so up.Any of it that I CAN do (or learn) myself, I plan on doing. My experience is with new construction, not remods.I haven't seen much in the way of excavating, footings, drain-tiling, etc. But I am anxious to learn in these areas. (It's a money thing, you know). Any recommendations on books (Taunton or otherwise) about adding on? Everything from A to Z, including the underground stuff, tying-in, waterproofing, etc.
Then there's the plumbing, the heat, the electric, the..... Thanks guys.
