Picked up the bosch 18v 4 piece combo kit and now would like to get the 15 min charger to with it. The bosch web site lists the 15 min charger as an accessory for the kit but specs on the charger do not list the Bat026 battery as compatible. The Bat025 is listed as compatible and is an 18v battery as well but is an 2.0 AH battery versus the Bat026 which is a 2.4 AH battery. In fact the only batteries listed as compatible are 2.0 AH batteries.
Do you think the charger will charge the bat026 to its full 2.4 AH capacity? IF so why do you think it is not listed as compatible? I was hoping that it is only because it might take longer than 15 min to charge a 2.4 AH battery, what do you think?

WOW!!! What a Ride!
I think the charger is good for all the new generation batteries through the 24V. Now if I could get there crapola web site to recognize the search for 15 min battery charger I'd post the info for you but Hang on I can charge the fkn battery faster then I can get info from there site.
Ah here it is, stupid me thinking I could just fill in battery charger/search and get an answer.
Plus I think it was in tool crib monthly for 69$

Clay, that is what worries me all of those batteries listed are the 2.0 AH versions for each voltage range 7v-24v. The bat026 is the 2.4 AH version of thier 18v battery. Do you think it will charge the bat026 to it's full 2.4AH capacity?
I suspect that it would. Probably what happened was that the this is a newer battery and the list was never updated.
But a check with Bosch should be able to confirm it or say that it won't work.
As a Bosch fan I am less than thrilled by some of the web site functions, so it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't updated.
I think I really don't have a handle on batteries and the technology. Like I need to put some serious research time into it. At least to get a rudimentary understanding, if that's even possible.
I called Bosch today and was told that the charger should work with any 0 pak battery. That is what I wanted to hear, so I ordered the charger. I then checked my e-mail and saw that I finally got a response from Bosch( Thanks IMERC). The e-mail stated that I should not use the charger with that battery pack. I called Bosch back and got the same person I spoke to last time. She told me that she talked to the tech guy this time( don't know who she talked to the first time) and confirmed that the charger will work with my battery.
I am not sure who to believe but I am not going to cancell my order. I will do some tests with both the one hour and 15 min charger and post the results.
I checked with bosch about router bushings for a d handle 1600 and was told that they wouldn't fit. Also told to resetup the base and use the PC templet guide kit. Well I had already ordered it so I thought OH Well. Bushings got here, took the base plate off to check and guess what-perfect fit. Go figure. I'm hoppin it works for you cause darn it,it just should.
