Bosch 1587 jigsaw dust collection parts
If anyone is familiar with or use the dust collection setup for the Bosch 1587 jigsaw I would appreciate information on how
you obtained these parts and how well it works.
Nobody seems to list them as regular stock items.
I downloaded the parts diagram and have a good idea what they look like.
Sent a message to Coastal Tools but no reply.
(I am expecting a new 1587 to arrive any day.)
Thanks !

Replying to my own post with info for anyone interested in dust collection for the 1587.
Just got off the phone talking to a Todd at Coastal Tools, who told me he just ordered the parts for someone else.
It consists of four separate pieces that add up to around $22.00 + minimum shipping charge of $7.50.
That's $30 to set up the 1587 for dust collection, which I am planning on hooking up to a HEPA equipped ShopVac.
I bought the "kit" locally at the Denver Bosch Factory repair center. It works pretty well, much better than the system on my Porter Cable circ. saw (which still throws dust in my face). The only downside is that the ribbed hose from the shop vac tends to catch on corners, like the end of a sheet of plywood. You need to plan ahead to make sure the hose won't disrupt your cut. All in all, I think it is a worthwhile investment to make a great tool better.

Thanks for the feedback.
Saw arrived but no dust collection kit, which had to be ordered from a different source.
As for the ribbed hoses catching, socks/sleeves for central vac system hoses may work on the smaller diameter shop vac hoses.
(But maybe not on the 2-1/2" hoses.)
