Bosch Job box radio. I got it cheep off a guy and of course it dosent work well. It wasn’t used too often and looks about new. The FM reception is horrible. I had an antenna and I swapped it out with the rubber one and that didn’t make a bit of difference.
The outlets on the side are about useless because the keep popping the breakers. Not from being overloaded but between when I set down a tool on a 50′ cord and when I pick it up again. I didn’t pop when the tool was running, I didn’t try it for too long either I don’t have time to mess around with it.
I want it to work right it would fit my needs perfectly if it worked as designed. Any one know how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it

I found my MP3 player into my Dwalt radio gets better FM recp. than the radio..I guess the cord acts like an antenna. And leaving the cord attached makes the radio recieve better..might wannna try that.
Outlets is easy, swap em out for new.

The dewalt radio we use all the time gets good reception. I would be thrilled if the bosch worked anywhere near that.
Try the Ipod cord trick, I dunno why , but it works.Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks

Those radios are known for bad reception and the outlets are lousy too. The first generation was even worse than the second. This I gathered from reviews and there was a lot of talk on breaktime about them.
