I bought a Bosch 4410 CSMS 4 years ago and have used it mostly for cutting narrow stock. Sometimes on wider pieces I’d see Bosch blue coloring from the blade on the back edge of a cut.
Last April I was working with wide MDF baseboard and found that on bevel or miter cuts from the right side, the trailing teeth of the blade would actually cut a groove because they were not following in the kerf cut by the leading teeth. The blade was mis-aligned with the slide tubes.
Bosch charged me $60 to adjust everything, but the problem was just as bad as before. I took it back again and they replaced the fence and the slide tube brackets but when I went to pick it up it was still mis-aligned. I talked directly to the technician and showed him what it was doing.
Finally, they called and told me that sometimes there just was nothing they could do with a particular machine and this was one of those times. Would it be ok by me if they gave me a new machine in place of the old one?
Today I picked up my new machine, a laser model, although the old one was not. No warranty limits, no fees or charges.

ok, ok, maybe I will still keep buying Bosch after all.
Sometimes we just need to hear reports like this.
Thanks

Hey, they did that to me too on a 5 year old 12". Had me UPS it back to them on their nickle so their R&D could figure out how in the world it started doing what it was doing. Shoulda been impossible . . . shoulda.
I still get mileage out of that customer service story. Thats big to me. Real trucks dont have sparkplugs
Bosch has done similar to me....
