Bosch table saw ts4000 motor wiring HELP
Greetings.
I have a Bosch ts400 table saw that started acting up. Wasn’t the speed control. Replaced the field. Big delay between disassembly and getting the part and I can’t remember how the wiring works. There is a black and white from the motor and a black and white from the plug end. And in addition a smaaler guage black and blue from the speed control? So six wires in total. I didn’t make notes or take a pic because i thought it was obvious. A month later … not that obvious. Can’t find a wiring diagram online. Any help greatly appreciated!!!!!
Regards

Well, you've got about one chance in ten of getting it right. Are you feeling lucky?
Just call customer service with your model number and serial number and ask them for a diagram.

My plan
I have the phone number stored in my phone. They operate m-f. I operate non-stop. But I will phone Bosch support tomorrow and work it out. Hopefully I can get it figured out and then post it here so that the solution is available to others. Luckily I didn't need my ts this weekend as installing tile, counter top, and led uc lights took 13 hours. Regards
For what it's worth, I looked for a drawing too, never found one. There are several varieties of that saw, so they will probably want all the info on the saw. And it would be nice to post the information, maybe someone else will be in the same boat someday.
If yu can't find a wiring diagram, take the unit to a motor shop.
ts4000 Bosch motor wiring
So I called Bosch on Monday and they were well informed and helpful. They emailed me a schematic and explanation of ...
4000 PCB wiring diagram.
1. White AC line cord to white field wire.
2. Black AC line cord to thin blue wire on PCB.
3. Black motor field wire to thin black wire on PCB.
4. Black long, thick wire on PCB to red motor brush wire with push on connector.
That's what they want you to believe.
