Could any of you folks tell me your opinon(s) on Bosch’s 18 volt batteries versus Makita’s? I’m beginning to look for new cordless tools but I’m trying to do my homework on each of different companies’ 18v tool lines.
Thanks kindly
Paul

I have both the 18v Bosch with Blu Core NiCads and the Makita 18v Li-Ion.
Makita is great...light, powerful, long run times, best ergonomics, nice LED lighting...the best cordless tools I've ever used.
The Bosch stuff is good, and NiCads are better for cold weather use (a plus here in Minnesota--I limit the Makita Li-Ion to inside use in the winter).
