I’m installing hardwood in our house (as per previous posts) and have a Bostich manual nailer, factory reconditioned. It worked perfectly well for a while. Now it’s missing the cleats if I hit it too hard. The only way it seems to work is if I tap it lightly so that it grabs the next cleat, then I can whack it. So it’s two to three hits per cleat. Not that it’s a real problem, but what’s wrong? Can I fix it?

Magazine & feed spring may need lub to make the nails advance more freely.
Best of luck
No one should regard themselve as "God's gift to man." But rather a mere man whos gifts are from God.
