does anyone have trouble with the bostitch 88 rh framing nailer? shooting nails fine and then when i put in partial clips of nails it jams or actually shots nails sideways. what gives? other than that lots of power., but could use a sky hook, to hook on studs or rafters.

Got the clipped head version. No jamming problems.
I bought one last year.
It seemed to jam all the time.
Found a few posters with the same problem here.
Seems that it jams less if you put the nails in and ease in the
follower and not let it fly and pound in.
Also, most users with the problem said it clears up after a box of
nails goes thru it.
I had an off winter so I can't say if it clears up or not.
When I catch the rep, I plan to ask him.
Otherwise, it's a nice gun.

Got the gun, had the same problem. It does not like partial sticks (and if you're using the special order metal connector nails, the manual states to only use one stick at a time.) Also, if the plastic holding the nails together is ratty, that will also cause problems. I've had to use a utility knife to trim the plastic down, and I also am easy on the magazine release. Overall, I like the gun, and the metal connector attachment is a worksaver and more than compensates for the minor shortcomings.
