We’re about to start shingling our new house (in coastal NC) and wondering if anyone has experience doing Boston corners with a router or laminate trimmer? Many thanks.

Don't mean to sound stupid but I live in Michigan(home of the Redwings!!!), but what is a Boston corner and what does a router have to do with shingling a roof????
If by "Boston corners" you mean woven or alternating than yes. I have used a laminate router with a flush trim bit. Works nicely but its another corded tool to hump up the ladder with you as you go. I prefer to use a cordless jigsaw and small plane. The plane fits in the tool pouch and the jigsaw is already going up with me to make the cuts anyhow.

Jaybird, thanks. I think this is exactly the information we (well, read that "he") wanted. It's the sidewalls, not the roof, and there are decks all around, so not that much humping (or high ladder work, lucky for me).
